**New Delhi:** A long holiday season is approaching, with a total of 13 days scheduled for bank closures in November. This week alone, banks will be closed for three days.

**Diwali Confusion:** This year, Diwali is being celebrated on both October 31st and November 1st, causing some confusion among the public. While some states are observing the holiday on October 31st, others have declared November 1st as a holiday. It is recommended that people verify the specific holiday dates in their city before visiting any bank branch.

**Bank Holiday Dates:**

**October 31st:** Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Shimla, and Thiruvananthapuram.

**November 1st:** Banks will be closed in Agartala, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Shillong, and Srinagar.

**November 2nd:** Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Lucknow.
