Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is currently experiencing heavy rainfall, causing widespread disruption to the lives of its residents. The severe weather has also affected superstar Rajinikanth, with his opulent mansion in the high-security zone of Poes Garden being flooded. Images shared on social media by Thanthi TV show water seeping into the superstar’s home.
Rajinikanth’s residence is a popular tourist attraction, attracting many visitors daily who come to see the building and take pictures in front of it. Poes Garden is home to many prominent figures including the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, actor Dhanush, and other celebrities, businessmen, and lawyers.
On the work front, Rajinikanth’s film “Vettaiyan” was released in theaters on October 10. The film, directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, features a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh.
The superstar is next set to appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film “Coolie,” where he will play the role of Deva. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Mahendran. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will make a cameo appearance in the film, which is expected to release in 2025.
