**New Delhi:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for the UGC NET examination held from August 21st to September 5th. The results, which were initially expected yesterday, are now available on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The UGC NET exam is a crucial step for aspiring lecturers in colleges and universities across India. It is also a prerequisite for pursuing Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) and admission to PhD programs.
The exam, which is conducted twice a year in June and December, was marred by irregularities in June. The NTA subsequently cancelled the June exam and conducted a fresh examination in August, with over 9 lakh candidates participating.
