Wed Oct 16 16:01:03 UTC 2024: ## BJP’s Nizamabad MP Blames Leadership for Assembly Election Loss in Hyderabad
**Nizamabad, October 15:** BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind has raised concerns about the party’s performance in the recent Assembly elections in Hyderabad. Despite winning 48 seats in the GHMC elections, the BJP secured only one Assembly seat in the city. Arvind attributed this setback to internal leadership issues within the party.
Speaking to reporters at the Nizamabad Collectorate, Arvind criticized the lack of coordination within the BJP. He claimed that while the public was ready to vote for the BJP, the party failed to capitalize on the opportunity due to internal problems. He questioned the reasons behind the party’s limited success, securing only 8 out of the total seats despite expectations of forming the government.
Arvind emphasized the need for introspection and called for a united effort to improve the party’s performance in future elections. He also criticized PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud for his comments regarding R&B projects, stating that the state government’s failure to clear bills for railway bridges was the real reason for the delay.
Arvind further pointed out the irony of Goud’s criticism, considering his lack of electoral success, even at the municipal level. He suggested Goud refrain from criticizing others until he achieves some electoral victories.
