Tue Oct 15 05:50:00 UTC 2024: ## TGPSC Group 1 Mains 2024 Exams Begin on October 21st: Hall Tickets Released
**Hyderabad, October 14th:** The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced that the hall tickets for the Group 1 Mains examinations are now available for download. The examinations are scheduled to be held from October 21st to 27th, 2024.
This is the first Group 1 examination conducted by TGPSC since the commission’s renaming. A total of 31,382 candidates have qualified for the Mains examination after clearing the preliminary exam held on June 9th, 2024, in which over 3.02 lakh candidates participated.
The Mains examination will consist of six papers, including a General English paper (qualifying exam). Each paper will be of 150 marks and will be held for 3 hours from 2 PM to 5 PM each day.

The examination schedule is as follows:
* **October 21st:** General English (Qualifying Exam)
* **October 22nd:** Paper 1: General Essay
* **October 23rd:** Paper 2: History, Culture, and Geography
* **October 24th:** Paper 3: Indian Society, Indian Constitution, and Administration
* **October 25th:** Paper 4: Economy
* **October 26th:** Paper 5: Science and Technology
* **October 27th:** Paper 6: Telangana Movement and State Formation
The TGPSC has also made available model answer booklets on its website. Candidates can choose to write the exam in English, Telugu, or Urdu.
