Dubai, UAE: West Indies captain Hayley Matthews won the toss and opted to bowl first in a crucial Group B clash against England at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This match will determine the final semi-final spots and the matchups for the knockout stages.

The West Indies got off to a strong start, with Deandra Dottin taking a spectacular catch to dismiss dangerous opener Danni Wyatt-Hodge for 16. Dottin then continued her impressive performance by running out Alice Capsey for 1, highlighting a period of early pressure on England.

Despite losing early wickets, England maintained an aggressive approach, but Maia Bouchier fell victim to a sharp catch by Qiana Joseph, ending her promising knock of 14.
