Tue Oct 15 09:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Jets Hopeful for Reddick Return: New Agent to Meet with Team

**New York, NY** – There may be a breakthrough in the holdout of veteran edge rusher Haason Reddick with the New York Jets. Reddick, who is entering the final year of his contract, hired new agents Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha, and Rosenhaus plans to meet with the Jets before Monday night’s game against the Bills in an attempt to resolve the situation.

This move comes shortly after Reddick’s previous agency, CAA, severed ties with him, and a day after reports surfaced that Reddick declined a new contract with the Jets that was “all but worked out” earlier in the season.

Reddick, who was traded to the Jets from the Philadelphia Eagles after failing to reach a new deal with his former team, initially reported to his new squad but has not participated in any offseason work, training camp, or preseason activities. He has been fined for these absences and will forfeit his sixth game check on Monday night.

With Rosenhaus stepping in, there’s a glimmer of hope that a deal could be reached, potentially preventing further game checks from being lost for Reddick.
