Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced that the JMM-led alliance will contest all 81 seats in the upcoming state assembly elections. The announcement came during a meeting of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s central committee. Soren expressed confidence in the alliance’s victory in the elections, which are expected to be announced by the Election Commission today.
The current term of the Jharkhand Assembly is set to end on January 5th, 2024. During the JMM central committee meeting, Soren reviewed the election preparedness with party workers and executive members. He expressed his confidence in the alliance’s victory.
Soren further stated that the alliance is not like the BJP and will implement all the welfare schemes promised to the people. He highlighted the alliance’s victory in the 2019 elections despite a “double engine” government being in power at the center and state level.
