Tue Oct 15 11:05:05 UTC 2024: ## Salman Khan Urged to Apologize to Bishnoi Community Amidst Escalating Threats

**New Delhi:** Following a series of threats against Bollywood megastar Salman Khan by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, former BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav has called for the actor to publicly apologize to the Bishnoi community. The call comes in the wake of the recent murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, a close friend of Khan’s, which the gang claimed responsibility for.

Yadav’s plea stems from Khan’s conviction in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The incident, which occurred during the filming of “Hum Saath Saath Hain” in Rajasthan, saw Khan and others accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks, considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. This act sparked widespread outrage and fueled the gang’s vendetta against Khan.

“People make mistakes. You are a top actor, and a large number of people in the country love you. My good advice is to respect the Bishnoi community’s sentiments and apologize for your big mistake,” Yadav tweeted in Hindi, urging Khan to reconcile with the community.

However, a source close to Khan insists that the actor has no intention of apologizing. “He will not apologize for something he hasn’t done,” the source stated, adding that Khan’s family is increasingly concerned about his safety.

The threats from the Bishnoi gang have heightened security concerns for Khan, who is constantly under police protection. “It just gets more stressful every time he steps out in public or travels for shoots,” the source revealed.

The incident has reignited anxieties about the Bishnoi gang’s persistent vendetta against Khan, especially in light of Siddique’s murder. Mumbai Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the killing, which they have termed a contract hit.

Yadav’s call for an apology highlights the complex dynamics surrounding the case and the growing pressure on Salman Khan to address the Bishnoi community’s grievances. Whether Khan will heed the advice remains to be seen, but the escalating threats and the tragic murder of Siddique have brought the situation to the forefront of national attention.
