**Mिल्कीपुर, October 14, 2024:** In a bid to secure victory for the Samajwadi Party (SP) in the upcoming Mिल्कीपुर Assembly by-election, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council and in-charge of the by-election, Lal Bihari Yadav, embarked on a marathon tour of the constituency. He addressed concerns regarding potential divisions within the party and urged workers to unite for the cause.
During his tour, Yadav met with party workers in Mवई खुर्द, where concerns were raised about the Seन family’s apparent distance from the election campaign. Responding swiftly, Yadav contacted former minister Anand Seन over phone and assured the workers that the Seन family would actively participate in the by-election campaign.
Addressing an assembly of intellectuals and teachers at a private school in हैरिंग्टनगंज, Yadav emphasized the importance of the by-election, stating it was not just about the candidate but about the SP and Akhilesh Yadav. He urged everyone to forget their differences and work tirelessly to secure a victory in Mिल्कीपुर.
Recognizing the challenges posed by the ruling party, Yadav warned the workers against underestimating the election. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive strategy to combat the government’s efforts and ensure that all eligible SP voters are registered in the electoral rolls.
To bolster the party’s presence in weaker areas, Yadav assured workers that he would personally visit such booths and strengthen the party’s support there. The meeting was attended by several senior SP leaders including Dr. Avdesh Yadav, state secretary Chhote Lal Yadav, Ram Charan Yadav, Ram Yajna, Santaram, Ramkeval, Dr. Sanjit Yadav, and Shivram Yadav.
