**Washington, D.C.** – The United States has announced it will deploy a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile battery to Israel, along with the necessary troops to operate it, in response to recent Iranian ballistic missile attacks. The decision, authorized by President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, aims to strengthen Israel’s air defenses and protect American forces in the region.
