**JAIPUR:** Delhi stormed to the top of Group D in the 28th Senior Women’s National Football Championship for the Rajmata Jijabai Trophy, demolishing Andaman & Nicobar with a staggering 21-0 victory at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium on Sunday.

Deepika Pal led the offensive charge for Delhi, netting a remarkable eight goals. Fragrancy Riwan added five more, while Ruchi contributed four. Debika Tanti, coming off the bench, notched a hat-trick, and captain Saloni rounded out the scoring.

In the second Group D encounter, Maharashtra secured a comfortable 11-0 win over Pondicherry. Vaishnavi Barate led the way with four goals, followed by captain Arya More and forward Payal Kothari, both scoring two goals.

Maharashtra currently holds the second position in Group D, while Pondicherry and Andaman & Nicobar sit at third and fourth, respectively.

Group C action will continue in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh with Andhra Pradesh facing Assam at 8:30 AM IST, followed by Railways taking on Uttar Pradesh at 3 PM IST. The matches will be live-streamed on the Sportscast India YouTube channel.
