**New Delhi, October 13:** JSW Sports’ Hockey India League (HIL) franchise, Surma Hockey Club, has appointed former Indian captains Sardar Singh and Rani Rampal as mentors for their men’s and women’s teams respectively.
Sardar will be joined by international coach Jeroen Bart, analytical coach Michael Cosma, and technical advisor Arjun Halappa in the men’s team. The women’s team will have Jude Menezes (international coach), Harvinder Singh (assistant coach), and Sean Danser (analytical coach).
Representing Punjab and Haryana, Surma Hockey Club is set to bid for men’s players at the HIL auction on Sunday. The women’s player auction will take place on Tuesday.
