**LOS ANGELES -** Ticketmaster has announced its partnership with Apple to become the first ticketing company to utilize the upgraded Apple Wallet tickets for iOS 18. These new tickets offer a more immersive experience, allowing users to view event information directly within the Apple Wallet app.

“Fans will be able to see event information such as a map of the venue and parking details, recommended playlists from Apple Music, local forecasts from Weather, and easy access to location sharing to help fans find their friends when they arrive,” Ticketmaster stated. Venues and teams will also be able to include links to their own apps or websites.

The first event to feature these enhanced tickets will be the Los Angeles Football Club game at BMO Stadium on October 19th. Ticketmaster also confirmed that the Miami Heat will be the next to adopt the new experience, but did not specify a date. The company plans to make this improved ticket experience more widely available throughout 2024.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in the evolution of digital ticketing, offering a more comprehensive and user-friendly experience for attendees. Ticketmaster has yet to reveal details on the broader roll-out of the new tickets.
