**New Delhi, October 10, 2024:** Train services on the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line will be affected on Friday morning (October 11) due to maintenance work at Vishwavidyalaya station, officials announced. The disruption will last until 6:25 AM, impacting a small section of the line between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate stations.
The first train service from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre will start at 6:29 AM instead of 6 AM, while services from Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli will begin at 6:40 AM instead of 6 AM.
The Yellow Line connects Samaypur Badli in Delhi to Millennium City Centre in Gurugram. While the small section between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate will be closed, normal train services will continue on the rest of the line, including Millennium City Centre to Kashmere Gate and Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya.
Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will also remain closed until the resumption of train services at 6:25 AM.
To minimize inconvenience to passengers, announcements will be made at stations and inside trains regarding train destinations and changeover platforms during this maintenance period.
