**Trichy, Tamil Nadu:** An Air India Express flight from Trichy to Sharjah made an emergency landing at Trichy airport on Wednesday evening after experiencing a technical malfunction. The flight, AXB613, departed Trichy at 5:40 PM and was scheduled to arrive in Sharjah at 8:20 PM.
The aircraft, carrying 141 passengers, reportedly experienced a hydraulic failure. To reduce fuel before landing, the plane circled in the air for over two and a half hours.
Upon hearing of the technical issues, Trichy Airport officials took precautionary measures, deploying 20 ambulances and 18 fire engines. Reports suggest that the landing gear might have malfunctioned.
