Fri Oct 11 16:02:55 UTC 2024: ## “Martin” Movie Review: Action-Packed Spectacle with a Weak Story

The latest South Indian pan-India film “Martin,” starring Dhruva Sarja, was released during Dussehra after a four-year wait. The film, known for its grand production value reminiscent of “K.G.F.,” focuses on Arjun (Dhruva Sarja), a patriotic and honest customs officer who loses his memory during an operation in Pakistan.

The film features stunning visuals, extravagant action sequences, and expensive locations. However, the plot lacks strength, despite the impressive visual spectacle. While the action sequences are enthralling, the emotional depth feels lacking. The story revolves around Arjun’s journey to rediscover his identity and unravel the mystery behind “Martin,” with a touch of romance and patriotism woven in.

Dhruva Sarja delivers a powerful performance, showcasing his action skills and portraying the dual roles effectively. Vaibhavi Shandilya adds glamour to the film, while other actors perform competently. The film’s technical aspects are top-notch, with impressive cinematography, trendy visuals, and a compelling background score by Ravi Basrur. However, director Arjun struggles to narrate the story cohesively.

“Martin,” while visually impressive, ultimately fails to engage emotionally. The film is recommended for action enthusiasts only.
