**Islamabad, October 9** – Pakistan Post is joining the world in celebrating World Post Day today, highlighting the importance of postal services and the institution’s contributions.
A press release announced that a series of events are planned, including a flag hoisting ceremony at the Rawalpindi General Post Office (GPO) at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will be followed by a stamp exhibition, showcasing the history and evolution of postal communication.
Postmaster General of Northern Punjab, Muhammad Zaheer, will be the chief guest for the event, joined by other officials including Deputy Postmaster General Arshad Khan and Chief Postmaster Asma Noreen.
