Tue Oct 08 23:52:26 UTC 2024: ## BJP Celebrates Haryana Victory, Congress Claims Jammu & Kashmir Success

**Bhopal, India:** Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has attributed the BJP’s third consecutive victory in the Haryana Assembly elections to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the party’s performance in the past two terms. He also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, stating that “Rahul Gandhi, not the Congress, has failed in the loss of the grand old party in Haryana Assembly polls.”

Mr. Yadav, who campaigned for BJP candidates in four Haryana Assembly seats, predicted the Congress’ defeat prior to the elections, asserting that “Even Congress leaders don’t like his leadership, and people know this.”

While BJP celebrated their success in Haryana, the Congress celebrated their victory in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly polls, where they formed an alliance with the National Conference.

The BJP’s win in Haryana is seen as a significant boost for the party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The Congress, on the other hand, faces challenges in rebuilding its support base in the wake of its defeat in Haryana.
