**Los Angeles, October 5 (ANI):** Donald Glover, known for his musical persona Childish Gambino, has cancelled the remainder of his North American and European tour due to health concerns.

Glover revealed in a statement on X (formerly Twitter) that he sought medical attention in Houston after experiencing an undisclosed ailment that worsened following a performance in New Orleans.

“After being assessed, it became clear I would not perform that night, and after more tests, I could not perform the rest of the U.S. tour in the time asked. As of now I have surgery scheduled and need time out to heal,” Glover wrote.

The “New World” tour was part of Glover’s final project under the Childish Gambino moniker. It included his latest album, “Bando Stone and the New World”, an upcoming film of the same name, and a re-release of the pandemic-era album “3.15.2020”.

While the remaining North American, UK, and European dates have been cancelled, it remains unclear whether the tour’s New Zealand and Australia legs, scheduled for January and February 2025, will be affected.

Glover expressed his disappointment at having to cancel the tour and requested fans to respect his privacy during his recovery. He concluded his statement by thanking his fans for their love and support.
