**Thiruvananthapuram, October 9, 2024:** The highly anticipated Onam Bumper lottery draw will take place today, with a whopping Rs. 25 crores as the first prize. The draw will be held at noon, and 20 lucky winners will receive Rs. 1 crore each as the second prize, while the third prize is a handsome Rs. 50 lakhs.
As of 11 am, a total of 71,41,508 tickets have been sold. Palakkad district continues to lead the sales with 13,02,800 tickets sold, followed by Thiruvananthapuram with 9,50,250 tickets and Thrissur with 8,61,000 tickets. Sales are progressing rapidly with the remaining tickets expected to be sold out soon.
Alongside the Onam Bumper, the Pooja Bumper draw, offering a first prize of Rs. 12 crores, will also take place today. The launch of the Pooja Bumper will be graced by Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal, who will preside over the ceremony at Gorakhi Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram at noon.
The Pooja Bumper boasts a diverse range of prizes, including five second prizes of Rs. 1 crore each, two third prizes of Rs. 10 lakhs each (for each series), five fourth prizes of Rs. 3 lakhs each, and five fifth prizes of Rs. 2 lakhs each. There are also numerous other prizes, including Rs. 5000, Rs. 1000, Rs. 500, and Rs. 300. The Pooja Bumper ticket costs Rs. 300 and the draw is scheduled for December 4th.
