**Patna, October 26, 2024** – The ongoing 10-day Ramlila at Naga Baba Thakur Bari, led by Niranjan Lal Vyas, witnessed a captivating portrayal of the Dhanush Yagna and Ram’s marriage on its fifth day. The event was graced by the presence of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Nand Kishore Yadav, and President of the Dussehra Committee, Arun Kumar.
The dramatic highlight of the day was the depiction of sage Parashuram’s anger. As he was meditating on a mountain, the sound of a breaking bow disturbed his meditation. Enraged, Parashuram reached Janakpur and learned about the broken bow. He was further incensed when he discovered that it was broken by none other than Lord Ram. However, Ram calmed the sage by explaining that his servant must have broken the bow. Parashuram then left for Mandarachal mountain to continue his meditation.
The play then moved on to the marriage ceremony, where King Videha Raj sent a marriage proposal to Ayodhya. King Dashrath of Ayodhya then arrived with his baraat, bringing together the four brothers in holy matrimony.
The event was attended by prominent figures including Prince Kumar Raju, Ashu Gupta, MP Jain, Pawan Kumar, Sujay Saurabh, Sushma Sahu, Sushil Bajaj, Prof. Naval Kishore, Manish Kumar, and Sanjay Rai.
