**Kochi:** Malayalam actress Prayaga Martin has become the latest name to surface in the ongoing Kochi drug case. The actress, known for her roles in several Malayalam films, has been named in the remand report of the case, which involves alleged gangster Om Prakash.
Following the release of the report, Prayaga Martin took to Instagram to post a cryptic message: “Ha..ha..hi..hu!” This sparked speculation about her involvement in the case.
The Maradu police are now preparing to question both Prayaga Martin and actor Shine Tom Chacko. They have been summoned to the station for questioning. The police believe that the actors visited Om Prakash’s room with the intention of using drugs.
The police have gathered evidence suggesting that the incident involved a drug party organized by Om Prakash’s associates.
Binu Joseph, an Elumkara native who introduced the actors to Om Prakash, has been taken into police custody.
The police plan to record statements from 20 individuals named in the remand report, including the actors. CCTV footage from the hotel where the incident occurred has been obtained by the police.
Further arrests are expected in the case. Om Prakash’s mobile phone has been sent for forensic analysis.
