**New Delhi:** The wait for the election results in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir is finally over, with the counting of votes set to begin at 8 am today, October 8th, 2024. Both states saw fierce competition between the BJP and the INDIA alliance, with exit polls predicting a close race in both regions.
In Haryana, the Congress is hoping for a strong win, capitalizing on factors like farmer protests, wrestler protests, and the recent defection of Ashok Tanwar, who left the BJP to join the Congress. The BJP, however, is optimistic despite facing some challenges.
