**Copperas Cove, TX** – A new hair care and cosmetic business, The Melting Pot Beauty Bar, held its grand opening on Friday in Copperas Cove. The salon is owned by Angela Sunday Cobb, who also runs a child care organization in Harker Heights.
The Melting Pot Beauty Bar offers a range of beauty services, catering to a diverse clientele. The salon currently employs three stylists and plans to add an esthetician soon.
Cobb, who admits to having limited hair styling experience, said she was inspired to start the business after watching the 1997 film “B.A.P.S.” The movie follows two women who dream of opening a combination hair salon and soul food restaurant, a goal that Cobb also shares.
The Melting Pot Beauty Bar is currently open by appointment only, but Cobb hopes to eventually operate the salon 24/7.
