Swedish-Greek actress Elli AvrRam, known for her roles in “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon” and her participation in “Bigg Boss”, is making waves in Bollywood with her latest project, the short film “Beinteha”. A part of Tips Industries’ exclusive series featuring reimagined iconic songs, “Beinteha” stars AvrRam as the mistress of a gangster opposite Prateik Babbar, who plays an underground fighter in this romantic drama. The film is set to the iconic tune of “Tere Dar Pe Sanam”.
AvrRam shared her experience filming a challenging dance sequence, highlighting the support she received from the team, especially director Arif Khan and cinematographer Sanket. She even credits her successful performance to a prayer for strength, despite being tired and in heels after 12 hours of filming.
“Beinteha” marks another step in AvrRam’s Bollywood journey, a dream she nurtured since childhood. Her fascination with Bollywood started at the age of five when she was captivated by colorful Indian films on Swedish television. This sparked a lifelong passion, culminating in her move to India to pursue her acting career.
Comparing her adopted home to her homeland, AvrRam describes India, particularly Mumbai, as a buzzing hub of energy and possibilities, while Sweden feels peaceful and quiet, like a spa. Though she appreciates the tranquility of Sweden, she admits to missing the vibrancy of India after a month, finding its energy more stimulating and alive. While Sweden holds its own charms, she finds it less exciting compared to the constant activity and opportunities in India, especially in a city like Mumbai.
