**BALTIMORE, MD – October 2, 2024** – Black Women in Science & Engineering (BWISE) will host a special networking event focused on “Health Equity Through Biomedical Innovation” at the 2024 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Annual Conference on October 23rd. This event will provide a unique platform for professionals and students in the biomedical engineering and healthcare fields to discuss and collaborate on strategies to improve health equity for underserved communities.
