A resident of the Prince of Petworth neighborhood is baffled after finding their street lamp mysteriously replaced with a different, unwired lamp sitting on a concrete block.
The resident, who posted their query on a local community forum, described the new lamp as “definitely from somewhere else” and noted it’s blocking car doors and will likely kill the grass beneath it.
The original lamp has vanished, leaving the end of the block in darkness. The resident is seeking answers from neighbors, hoping someone witnessed the strange lamp swap.
