**Hyderabad:** In a fiery press conference today, Minister for Environment and Endowments, Konda Surekha, launched a scathing attack on former Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). She accused KTR of being the primary reason for the BRS’s electoral setbacks, alleging that his reckless actions and social media posts have damaged the party’s image.
Surekha claimed that KTR, while in office, acted as if he were the Chief Minister, making disastrous decisions. She demanded that KTR show restraint in his public pronouncements.
She further alleged that KTR’s ambition for higher office was driving him to undermine Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). She questioned KCR’s whereabouts, pointing out his absence after the budget session, and even threatened to file a missing person’s report at the Gajwel police station if he doesn’t reappear soon.
Surekha also accused KTR of conspiring with the BJP to secure bail for his sister, K Kavitha, in the Delhi liquor scam case. She questioned the swiftness of Kavitha’s bail in comparison to the delayed bail granted to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
She also linked KTR to the separation of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya, although she did not provide any specifics.
KTR is yet to respond to the allegations. The political scene in Telangana is heating up as the state prepares for the upcoming elections.
