Wed Oct 02 16:02:23 UTC 2024: ## Bengaluru FC Maintain Unbeaten Streak with Goalless Draw Against Mumbai City FC
**MUMBAI, INDIA -** Bengaluru FC continued their dominant start to the Indian Super League (ISL) season, holding Mumbai City FC to a goalless draw in their first away fixture of the season.
The Blues extended their unbeaten streak to four matches, becoming the first team to begin an ISL season with four consecutive clean sheets. Despite multiple chances for both sides, neither team managed to find the back of the net, leaving the final score at 0-0.
The draw sees Bengaluru FC maintain their position at the top of the ISL table with 10 points, while Mumbai City FC remain in 11th place with just one point from their two matches.
Mumbai City FC came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 79th minute when Tiri’s slide inside the box nearly sent the ball past Bengaluru FC goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, only for the ball to ricochet off the crossbar.
Bengaluru FC also had a late chance in the 85th minute when a header by Suresh Singh off a free kick took a deflection off a Mumbai defender, leaving the ball loose inside the penalty box. However, goalkeeper Lachenpa quickly recovered to regain control.
Both teams made changes throughout the game, with Mumbai City FC bringing on Krouma and Bipin for Tiri and Chhangte, while Bengaluru FC replaced Mendez with Sivasakhti.
The match marked a continuation of the intense rivalry between the two clubs. Mumbai City FC had won both of their meetings against Bengaluru FC last season, but the Blues have now secured a point on their first visit to the Mumbai Football Arena this season.
