**Tel Aviv, Israel** – A deadly stabbing and shooting attack in Tel Aviv Tuesday night left at least seven people dead and eight injured, according to the Ichilov Hospital. Israeli police are investigating the incident as a terror attack, with both suspected assailants killed.
The attack began on the city’s light rail system before the assailants continued on foot, targeting civilians. They were ultimately killed by the Municipal Security Patrol and citizens using personal firearms.
Large police forces are currently conducting extensive searches in the area for any additional threats.
The attack took place on Yerushalayim Street in Tel Aviv, shortly before a barrage of missiles was launched from Iran toward Israel. The Israel Defense Forces reported approximately 180 missiles targeting multiple locations across the country. While most were intercepted, several did hit their targets, and damage assessments are ongoing.
