**Bhilwara:** The city of Bhilwara is gearing up for a spectacular Dussehra celebration this year, with the Municipal Corporation planning grand Ravan Dahan events at multiple locations.
The main event will take place at Tejaaji Chowk, where a towering 51-foot Ravan effigy will be burnt. This effigy will be a sight to behold, measuring 30 feet wide, with a 15-foot torso and 6-foot legs. Accompanying the mighty Ravan will be 35-foot tall effigies of his brothers, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath. The spectacle will be further enhanced by the presence of a Lanka Gate, two lion figures, and a deer and elephant, all set ablaze with captivating fireworks.
The Corporation is also organizing Ravan Dahan events at Pur, Sanganeer, near Tanki Balaji, and Labor Colony. Each location will feature 15-foot tall, 7-foot wide effigies of Ravan and Kumbhkaran, along with one lion and one elephant effigy.
Meanwhile, the Baba Dhaam temple is preparing for its annual Navratri Mahotsav. The temple will be adorned with lights, flags, scarves, and flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere for devotees. The temple committee has assigned responsibilities to various individuals for the smooth running of the festival, including decoration, puja, and the organization of Garba dances. The Mahotsav will feature daily morning and evening aartis, special pujas, and a Lakshmiyagna ceremony.
The Municipal Corporation has allocated INR 4.80 lakhs for the Dussehra celebrations, promising a grand and memorable festival for Bhilwara residents.
