Kohli reached the landmark during India’s thrilling innings on Monday, where they declared their first innings at 285/9, breaking Australia’s record for the fastest 200 runs in a Test innings.
In a whirlwind knock, Kohli scored 47 runs off just 35 balls, reaching 27,000 runs in international cricket, a feat he achieved in 594 innings compared to Tendulkar’s 623 innings.
