Mon Sep 30 09:10:58 UTC 2024: ## Rain Delays, But India Takes Control in Kanpur Test

**Kanpur, India:** The second and final Test match between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur has been disrupted by rain, with the fourth day’s play expected to be delayed. The match, which began on Friday, has been stalled for two days due to persistent rainfall, preventing any play on Saturday and Sunday.

Despite the weather, India has shown their dominance, chasing down a modest target of 145 runs. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal played a blistering knock of 72 runs, hitting 12 fours and 2 sixes, before being dismissed by Hasan Mohammad.

The young opener shared a 127-run stand with Shubman Gill (31), who is currently at the crease.

India, who had bowled Bangladesh out for a paltry 107 runs in the first innings, are well on their way to winning the series, having already won the first test in Mirpur.

The match is expected to resume on Monday, with both teams hoping for clear skies and a chance to showcase their talents.
