Abu Dhabi hosted the star-studded International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 on its second day, showcasing the best of Bollywood. Icons like Hema Malini, Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon graced the event.

Shah Rukh Khan, the event’s host, entertained the audience with his charm and humor. He even shared the stage with Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar for a thrilling performance to his hit song, “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.”

The awards ceremony saw “Animal” take home the Best Picture award. Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for her performance in “Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway,” while Shah Rukh Khan won Best Actor for his role in “Jawan.”

Other notable winners included Shabana Azmi for Best Supporting Actress in “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” Anil Kapoor for Best Supporting Actor in “Animal,” and Bobby Deol for Best Actor in a Negative Role in “Animal.”

The three-day IIFA celebrations kicked off with “IIFA Utsavam,” dedicated to the South Indian film industries. The event will conclude on September 29 with the exclusive “IIFA Rocks,” featuring live performances by Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
