**Guwahati, Assam -** Prokriti Travels, the tourism division of Rivtra LLP, has been recognized for its outstanding work by receiving the “Best Tourist Guide” award from the Department of Tourism, Government of Assam, during the World Tourism Day celebrations.

Saikia emphasized the importance of the award in reinforcing their commitment to promoting Assam’s inland waterways, supporting local communities, and raising awareness about the conservation of endangered Gangetic River Dolphins. “We believe that promoting tourism in the riverside community can provide a more sustainable and profitable alternative to poaching dolphins,” he explained.

Prokriti Travels, with an initial investment of 1 Lac INR, aims to generate an estimated 2 Lacs INR in profit year-over-year. Their vision is to highlight the scenic beauty of the Brahmaputra River, its tributaries, and the vibrant riverside community activities in and around Tezpur.
