Singer Lana Del Rey tied the knot with Louisiana swamp tour guide Jeremy Dufrene on Thursday in a ceremony along the bayou near Des Allemands. The intimate wedding took place near Dufrene’s workplace, Airboat Tours by Arthur Matherne, where he guides visitors through the Louisiana swamps.
Photos and video obtained by The Daily Mail show Del Rey, 39, in a white wedding gown walking along the water’s edge. The couple, who first met during a swamp tour in March 2019, had obtained a marriage license in Thibodaux, Louisiana, on September 23.
Rumors of the couple’s romance surfaced online after photos of them in London appeared prior to Del Rey’s performance at the 2024 Reading & Leeds Festival. Del Rey publicly denied the relationship, as well as a supposed connection to Dufrene’s daughter on social media.
Despite the earlier denials, Del Rey’s father walked her down the aisle in the ceremony. The couple celebrated with a reception in a small tent along the bayou.
