Sat Sep 28 03:04:40 UTC 2024: ## Kejriwal Accuses BJP of Voter Deletion Scheme in Delhi

**New Delhi:** Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of a massive voter deletion scheme ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Speaking during an assembly session on Friday, Kejriwal alleged that the BJP is employing paid workers to identify AAP supporters and remove their names from the voter lists.

“The BJP knows they are going to lose the Delhi elections badly,” claimed Kejriwal. “They have started a large-scale operation to delete AAP votes and ensure bogus voting.” He claimed that these workers are going door-to-door, asking residents about their voting preferences. If a person reveals they support the AAP, their name is allegedly being removed from the voter list.

Kejriwal urged Delhi residents to be cautious of individuals inquiring about their voting choices. He advised them to claim support for the BJP to safeguard their votes. He also encouraged citizens to regularly check the Election Commission website to ensure their names remain on the voter list.

The AAP has instructed its MLAs and booth-level workers to closely monitor any changes to the voter lists in their respective areas.

The BJP has not yet responded to these allegations.
