**New York:** During his three-day trip to the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roundtable discussion with top technology industry leaders in New York, reaffirming India’s commitment to fostering innovation and safeguarding intellectual property.

The meeting, which included CEOs from leading companies like Adobe, Google, IBM, AMD, and Nvidia, saw PM Modi engage in productive discussions about collaborative opportunities in cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology.

“PM Modi is a great student. Whenever I meet him, he wants to learn more about technology. Artificial intelligence is a new industry, and I’m very keen to have a deep partnership with India. We’re partnering with many companies, startups and IITs in India. AI is really democratizing computing, and this is India’s moment,” said Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, following his meeting with the Prime Minister.

Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing PM Modi’s vision for India as a global technology hub. “Prime Minister Modi encouraged us to continue building and designing in India. He wants to ensure that AI is ultimately there to benefit the people of India. He is challenging us to do more in terms of AI so it benefits the people of India.”

PM Modi invited the participating companies to explore opportunities for co-development, co-design, and co-production in India, highlighting the country’s rapid economic and technological transformation. He outlined India’s strategic efforts in electronics and IT manufacturing, semiconductor production, biotech growth, and green development, showcasing the government’s ambitious plans to establish India as a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing and a biotech powerhouse through its BIO E3 policy.

Underscoring India’s commitment to promoting AI for all, PM Modi emphasized the ethical and responsible use of this technology. The CEOs, in turn, expressed strong interest in investing and collaborating further with India, acknowledging its growing role as a global technology hub driven by its conducive policies, vibrant market, and burgeoning talent pool.
