The new show, scheduled for January 21 at the DY Patil Sports Stadium, will go on sale today at 2 pm on BookMyShow.
The announcement comes after the ticketing platform BookMyShow experienced a server crash on Sunday morning as tickets for the band’s previously announced shows on January 18 and 19 went on sale. Fans took to social media to express their frustration with the platform’s performance, sharing screenshots of frozen screens and long wait times.
Despite BookMyShow’s initial struggles, the server eventually recovered, and tickets for the new show are now available. The platform has acknowledged the heavy traffic and apologised for the inconvenience.
Coldplay’s Mumbai concerts mark the band’s first visit to India in eight years. The Grammy-winning group previously performed in the city as part of the Global Citizen Festival in 2016.
The “Music of the Spheres World Tour 2025” kicks off on October 30 at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, and will conclude on August 31, 2025, with a show at Wembley Stadium in London.
