Apple’s latest AirPods iteration, the AirPods 4, has arrived, boasting a groundbreaking combination of open design and effective active noise cancellation (ANC). The company has been working tirelessly to perfect the earbud experience since the first wired iPod earbuds, and the AirPods 4 is a testament to this dedication.
The key challenge was to achieve ANC on open earbuds, a feat that required years of research and development. The AirPods 4 also features a revised case, thinner and simpler to use, with an IP54 rating for water resistance.
