**MUMBAI, INDIA -** Popular Bollywood actor Parvin Dabas is currently in critical condition after a serious car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning. The actor, known for his roles in films like “My Name is Khan” and “Khosla Ka Ghosla,” is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai.

According to a statement released by the Pro-Panja League, of which Dabas is a co-founder, details of the accident are still emerging. The statement expressed concern for Dabas and his family and requested privacy during this difficult time.

Dabas’ wife, actress Preeti Jhangiani, confirmed the severity of the situation in a statement. She revealed that Dabas sustained a serious concussion and is undergoing CT scans to assess for further damage. She added that the actor is currently unable to move.

Jhangiani attributed the accident to Dabas’ late-night workload as co-founder of the Pro-Panja League, which led him to drive in the early hours of the morning.

Dabas, who made his film debut in 1999 with “Dillagi,” has a diverse filmography spanning Hindi and English language films. He was last seen in the Prime Video series “Sharmajee Ki Beti.”
