Fri Sep 20 13:35:41 UTC 2024: ## St. Vincent to Release Spanish-Language Version of “All Born Screaming”

Singer-songwriter St. Vincent is releasing a Spanish-language version of her critically acclaimed seventh studio album, “All Born Screaming,” titled “Todos Nacen Gritando.” The album, due out on November 15th, was inspired by the passionate fans St. Vincent encountered during her international tours.

“The origins of ‘Todos Nacen Gritando’ can be traced back to some of the most memorable shows I’ve ever played, in Mexico, South America, and recently Primavera Barcelona,” she explained in a statement. “These crowds were united in their passion — singing every word to every song in perfect English. It was truly inspiring.”

St. Vincent, known for her captivating performances and experimental music, was moved by the fans’ dedication, stating, “If they can sing along in a second or third language, why can’t I meet them halfway?”

To create the Spanish version, she collaborated with her close friend and frequent collaborator, Alan Del Rio Ortiz. The duo meticulously translated the lyrics, ensuring they remained faithful to the original while adapting them for the Spanish language and musical nuances.

The first single from “Todos Nacen Gritando,” “Hombre Roto,” a Spanish rendition of “Broken Man,” is available now. Fans can expect the full album release on November 15th via Total Pleasure Records.
