Fri Sep 20 12:56:01 UTC 2024: ## Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Disappointing Charging Speeds, Familiar Features

**Seoul, South Korea** – While Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 series later this year, rumors about the upcoming Galaxy S25 flagship series are already circulating.

Recent leaks have revealed that the standard Galaxy S25 might be smaller than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24. However, new information from China’s 3C certification has dampened some expectations for hardware upgrades.

According to the filing, the Galaxy S25 Plus will have a maximum charging speed of 45W, while the base model, the Galaxy S25, will be limited to 25W. This is disappointing news as the base model of the Galaxy S series has been stuck at 25W wired charging since the Galaxy S20 in 2020.

Samsung is expected to include the same 4,000mAh battery in the Galaxy S25 as in the Galaxy S24. While the processor will likely be a Snapdragon chip, there are also rumors of Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 chip being ready for flagship devices.

Further, it appears that the Galaxy S25 and S25+ will feature the same camera setup as the current generation, with major upgrades expected only for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The lack of significant improvements in charging speed and features for the standard Galaxy S25 models might disappoint some fans. It remains to be seen if Samsung will offer any other surprises with the upcoming series.
