**Lynnfield, MA (September 19, 2024):** HP Hood LLC has issued a voluntary recall for five SKUs of 96 oz containers of LACTAID Milk due to the potential presence of trace amounts of almond, which is not declared on the product label.

The recall was initiated after routine maintenance programs revealed the potential for almond contamination. While no illnesses have been reported to date, individuals with almond allergies or sensitivities are at risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the affected product.

A photo of the affected product with the relevant information can be found on the FDA website.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled LACTAID Milk are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Alternatively, they can contact Hood Consumer Affairs at 800-242-2423 Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5:00 PM ET.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is aware of the recall and is working with HP Hood LLC to ensure the safety of consumers. The FDA does not endorse either the product or the company, and the recall announcement is posted as a public service.
