Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan is marking her 25th anniversary in the film industry with a special film festival curated by PVR INOX Pictures. The festival, aptly titled “25 Years of Kareena Kapoor Khan”, will showcase six of her iconic films from September 20th to 27th.

Despite a quarter-century in the spotlight, Kapoor remains passionate about her craft. “I still have that fire and that greed of wanting to be in front of the camera,” she said, highlighting her enduring dedication.

Reflecting on her career, Kapoor expressed surprise at the success of “Jab We Met”, a film she shot simultaneously with the star-studded “Tashan”. “We were all kind of new, there were no big names attached to it at that point,” she recalled.

Kapoor’s recent film “The Buckingham Murders” received critical acclaim, further solidifying her desire to take on diverse roles. “If after 25 years, I don’t experiment, it’s going to be never,” she asserted. “I’ve always tried to do that with films like Chameli and Dev very early on in my career.”

While acknowledging her success in commercial films like “Crew” and “Singham”, Kapoor remains driven to challenge herself as an actor. “Commercial films are so much a part of my DNA, but I also want to try out things sometimes,” she explained.
