Pivot Cycles has unveiled the latest iteration of their popular Vault gravel bike, the Gen 4, which takes versatility and comfort to the next level. This bike is not just a mountain bike in gravel clothes, but rather a “progressive gravel geometry” design featuring a longer, slacker, and taller frame. This allows riders to drop their stems by 10-20mm, increasing confidence on descents and corners without sacrificing efficiency.

The new Vault boasts a generous 700c x 50mm tire clearance, making it perfect for tackling rough terrain while still being able to handle paved roads. It also features Pivot’s proprietary Iso-Flex system, which has been redesigned to be lighter and less bulky. The updated system offers a smoother ride by absorbing vibrations and impact before they reach the rider.

The Vault is available in three build options: a Shimano GRX build, a SRAM Force XPLR AXS build, and a SRAM Force/X0 Wide Range AXS build. All models come with 700c x 40mm WTB Vulpine TCS Light/Fast tires and feature a claimed frame weight of 995g for a small size without hardware.
