**Chattogram:** India continued their strong performance against Bangladesh in the first Test, extending their lead on Day 2. After resuming their innings at 339/6, the Indian team added 37 runs to reach 376 before being bowled out.

**R. Ashwin** shone with a magnificent century, scoring 113 runs, while **R. Jadeja** contributed a vital 86 runs. **A. Deep** chipped in with 17 runs. However, Bangladesh’s **Hasan Mahmud** was the star with the ball, picking up 5 crucial wickets.
