PLAINVILLE – Bistro Twenty 4, located at 24 Whiting St., opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, offering a taste of what owner Jeff Selmani promises will be a community-focused dining experience. Selmani, a seasoned restaurateur with over a decade of experience, is transforming the space previously occupied by The Salty Dog Tavern.
Selmani aims to create a welcoming environment for families and friends, offering a diverse menu with an emphasis on affordability. “I want to make bistro food accessible to everyone,” Selmani stated. “We’ll be a place for special occasions and holidays, where people can come together and enjoy good food and company.”
The grand opening of Bistro Twenty 4 is scheduled for the coming weeks, marking a new era for the space and offering Plainville residents a new destination for casual dining.
