Wed Sep 18 03:35:46 UTC 2024: ## Pacers Star Tyrese Haliburton Brings NBA Flair to WWE NXT

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton made a surprise appearance at WWE’s NXT show in Orlando, Florida, adding some NBA star power to the wrestling event. Haliburton, a self-proclaimed WWE fan, was on hand to help set up the NXT championship match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams.

The crowd, however, was not thrilled with Haliburton’s presence, showering him with boos. Haliburton, known for his playful personality, responded with a clever comeback: “I would boo too if I had to be an Orlando Magic fan.”

He then proceeded to handle the contract signing for the match, even receiving a backstage nod of approval from WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.

This isn’t the first time Haliburton has made a splash in the WWE universe. In June, he appeared on Friday Night SmackDown, engaging in a staredown with New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, adding to the excitement of a match between Logan Paul and LA Knight.

Haliburton’s appearance at NXT marks his latest foray into the world of professional wrestling. Fans can look forward to seeing Haliburton on the court soon, as the Pacers and the Magic will face off on October 28th in Orlando.
